Version 12 – Today’s Most Complete Embroidery Software Suite

Pulse has released Version 12, the next generation of Pulse Signature software. This brand new version of embroidery design tools and features offers many new tools to enhance creativity in design creation, and offer increased efficiency for embroidery production.

Version 12 includes an additional 25 fonts, taking the number of standard fonts to over 125. New fonts are always very useful to embroiderers, and make it easy to personalize jerseys, team shirts, and lettering projects.

A new feature called Machine Clustering will save valuable time when sending designs for production- now you can send designs to multiple machines designated as a cluster, instead of having to send the same design individually to each machine. Clusters can be re-configured with ease to handle different production jobs.

Embroiderers often have to spend a lot of time going through the available fonts in order to closely match the lettering on customers' logos and designs. Version 12 lets you quickly preview chosen text for multiple fonts with the Font Preview feature without waiting for the software to generate stitches each time. It will make font-matching an easy task. Elements are a very useful feature where ‘mini-designs’ are identified within larger designs while digitizing. For example, in a landscape, each tree, each cloud, the sun, etc can be a separate Element. Use these mini-designs to create new design compositions with ease, and since Elements retain their sewing order, it is easy to paste them directly into new designs. Elements also make the task of selecting dozens or hundreds of segments super easy- all you have to do is select the appropriate Element from the sequence view. A valuable new feature, Automatic Overlaps eliminates the need to manually create overlaps for intersecting satin segments to account for fabric pull- just specify the distance you want the segments to overlap, and the overlap is automatically added.

Create stunning lace-like designs using our cut line patterns- ellipses, triangles and squares- by using the new Auto Boring feature. The appropriate shapes are automatically bored out of the design as a hole. The optional Advanced Reporting feature uses sophisticated reporting capabilities to find out exactly when thread breaks and needle breaks occur, gives you shift information, daily productivity summaries for every machine, and much more. And, users can view reports over the Internet, giving them the flexibility to be off-location and still be in touch with the production environment at the factory.

There’s more in Version 12- take a look at the feature descriptions below. Contact your distributor for an upcoming demo of Version 12 in your area.

New Features:

Machine Clustering

Enjoy even more flexibility when sending designs to machines. Define a group of machines, single or multi head, as a cluster and have your designs sent automatically to all of the machines associated with that cluster. You can create as many clusters as you need. Avoid having to send the same design one-by-one to each machine – save valuable time and create a more efficient production process. Re-configure clusters with ease to tackle a different set of diverse jobs.

Elements

Think of Elements as ‘mini-designs’ contained within a larger design. Once Elements are created, they can be used to create new designs instantly. Shapes are often made with dozens, sometimes hundreds of individual segments. With Elements, you can select them all in an instant from the sequence view by selecting any ‘mini-design’ you want. And, since Elements retain their sewing order, it is easy to paste them into new design compositions.

3D Preview

Preview a design on a garment to see how it will look when eventually sewn on the actual garment. You can move the design to any position over a garment to simulate its final location. This is a great way to get customer approval, as the customer can check if they like the design colors chosen, and visualize the final design sew out on a garment.

Automatic Overlaps for Satin lettering

Perform time consuming tasks in noticeably less time with Version 12. Automate manual tasks and save digitizing time. The Automatic Overlaps feature intelligently creates the appropriate overlaps on satin segments based on the start-stop points of the segments. Enter the desired overlap distance to achieve perfect results.

Automatic Boring

Pulse Signature allows you to create original, high quality designs that use boring devices. With the Automatic Boring feature, you can choose any of our boring tools and create embroidery designs that have stunning lace like effects.

Sewing Time

Pulse Signature lets you view the estimated sewing time of each embroidery design so you can plan your production efficiently. The Estimated Sewing Time feature automatically processes the number of stitches, colors, stops, and trims to calculate the approximate sewing time. It will give you an approximate cost for the design as well. Just enter in the basic information and Version 12 will do the rest for you.
