Artist Plus

Comprehensive digitizing embroidery design system.

Designed for Windows® 2000/XP, Artist Plus gives powerful lettering, editing and digitizing features that can be used by sophisticated embroidery artists.

With Artist Plus's powerful and flexible digitizing tools, combined with built-in lettering and editing tools, you can create unique and artistic designs efficiently.

Note: Only some of the features available in Artist Plus are highlighted here. Our software is modular and each software level builds on and INCLUDES ALL FEATURES of levels below it.

Powerful digitizing tools create outstanding designs

Branching:

Digitize complicated overlapping Satin, Steil or Run segments without worrying about the sequence. Branching optimally and automatically sequences the segments with no jumps for increased productivity. Even the Automatic underlays are properly branched and there is only one start and stop for the whole design.

Specialized Fill Effects

Artist Plus provides many Fill patterns that can be added to your design. Use Programmed Run to create beautiful linear effects. Choose from a variety of Standard, Programmed, Carved and Elastic Fills.

You can even turn your Carved Fill with the Turning Carves feature, very useful for depicting motion like the wheels of automobiles or representing dynamic curves in a landscape.

Artist Plus gives you the ability to create intricate stitch effects. With 150 Carved Fill patterns and 150 Programmed Fill patterns, you can produce rich and detailed effects for designs easily! Create your own fill patterns with our Programmed Fill Pattern Editor.

Steil tool
Use the Steil tool to quickly and easily create Steil borders for any shape. Adjust the steil angle to modify stitch direction for high quality borders. Choose corner styles such as Mitered, Beveled and Round to finish polished designs.

Convert tool

Convert any segment to any stitch type unlimited number of times, so you can check out the suitability of different stitch types on segments instantly. Easily convert steil to satin, too!

Unique stitch effects

Symbol Stitch

This tool lets you save any digitized shape, instantly recall it and apply in different sizes, maximizing productivity.

Making a sky full of stars or a field of flowers is now a super easy job!

Contour Stitch

You can highlight curves using this tool, and you'll use less stitches than a traditional fill.

Create a unique look easilyl!

Star Stitch

This stitch creates unique dot and star patterns with a raised and textured effect, adding reality and beauty to designs. Very useful for embroidering flowers, stars, eyes, and other round shapes.

Integration with Passport Librarian (Optional)

Passport Librarian is an advanced Design Management and Networking system. Passport Librarian integrates seamlessly with Designer. With the optional Multi-User Librarian, Designer enables you to access, save and search for designs from various locations over a network on a central database.
